Slide the door to open the heating chamber and insert the stick.

Insert the stick

Gently insert the stick from the correct side up to the drawn line. Remember that the graphic must be outside the heating chamber.

Prepare for the session

Choose between standard or boost mode. Press the button for 2 until it vibrates. The orange bar on the screen will show the time remaining until the session starts. Wait for the second vibration, glo™ HILO is ready for use.

Are the capsules used in virto™ food graded?

Yes, the capsules used in virto™ sticks are food-grade.

They are formulated using ingredients compliant with food-grade safety standards, intended for inhalation via heating, not combustion. These capsules—typically found in menthol and flavoured variants—are designed to release flavour when crushed and are manufactured following stringent internal quality and safety specifications set by BAT for aerosol delivery in heated tobacco products.

However, it’s important to note:
While food-grade ingredients are used, they are evaluated for inhalation safety, not ingestion.

Do virto™ sticks work differently in Standard vs. Boost mode?

Yes. In Boost mode, sticks may deliver a more intense flavour and stronger sensation. Standard mode offers a balanced, smoother session.

How are virto™ sticks manufactured?

virto™ sticks are manufactured using a two step process.
First, high quality tobacco leaves are processed into tobacco substrate rods with flavours added during this stage.
Secondly, the tobacco substrate rod, filter, wrapping materials and StickSeal™ plug are combined to form the final virto™ stick.

Does the shorter stick for virto™ affect the satisfaction of the product compared to neo sticks for Hyper?
